Editing process
Mary Mann is the archives librarian at The Cooper Union, and the author of Yawn: Adventures in Boredom (FSG Originals). A Rona Jaffe fellow, she has written for The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Believer, Outside Magazine and Smithsonian, and is associate editor of the New York Times bestselling collection Women in Clothes.
In her capacity as an information worker, reader, and writer, Mary believes in the utility of investigating the past to better occupy the present.
